On April 21, 2025, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, reached a milestone moment in the history of mining development - after being reviewed and approved by the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Weilasituo Li-Sn polymetallic Mine located in Keshiketeng, Chifeng City was officially granted a mining license.
The Weilasituo Li-Sn polymetallic Mine is the largest hard rock lithium mine in Asia and also the largest single tin mine in the North of the Yangtze River with abundant reserves. The total proven ore volume is 55.27 million tonnes, including 41.98 million tonnes of lithium oxide (Li2O) ore, equivalent to 57,6000 metric tonnes of metal, with an average grade of 1.37%; The amount of tin (Sn) ore reaches 13.09 million tonnes, equivalent to 122,000 metric tonnes, with an average grade of 0.94%. Meanwhile, it is also accompanied by high-value metals such as tungsten and zinc.
