According to the statistics and analysis of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), a total of 1.571 million Chinese passenger cars were sold in April, a decrease of 3.5% compared to the previous month and an increase of 23.5% year-on-year, accounting for 70.7% of the total passenger car sales. The sales share moved up by 7.1% compared to the same period last year.
From January to April 2025, Chinese passenger cars sold a total of 5.94 million units, a YoY increase of 27.4%, accounting for 68.7% of the total passenger car sales, and the sales share rose by 8.1% compared to the same period last year.
