On July 17, Zangge Mining announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Geermu Zangge Potash Has Co., Ltd., received an official notice on July 16, 2025, from relevant authorities ordering an immediate halt to lithium resource development and utilization activities.
Zangge Lithium has suspended production as required and is actively working to complete the necessary lithium mining permits. After the procedures are completed, the company will apply for resumption of production.
In 2025, Zangge Mining plans to achieve a production of 11,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate and a sales volume of 11,000 tonnes. In the first half of the year, it is expected to achieve a production of 5,350 tonnes of lithium carbonate and a sales volume of 4,470 tonnes, with a net profit of Yuan 49 million. The suspension's impact on annual financials is limited, but the timeline for resuming production remains undetermined.
