Commodity giant Glencore International AG (Glencore) reported nickel production of 31,900 tonnes in Ni. content (including third-party feed materials) in its Q2 2025 production report, marking a 6.73% quarterly decrease and 3.63% year-on-year decline. Production comprised 24,900 tonnes of nickel plates and 7,100 tonnes of nickel briquettes.
Founded in 1974 and headquartered in Baar, Switzerland, Glencore has evolved from its initial focus on ferrous/non-ferrous metals trading into a leading global producer and marketer of minerals, crude oil, and petroleum products.
