In July 2025, China's production of battery-grade manganese sulfate reached 15,500 tonnes, marking a month-on-month (MoM) increase of 32.47% but a year-on-year (YoY) decline of 18.63%. During the same period, ternary precursor output stood at 64,500 tonnes, down 0.51% MoM and 8.24% YoY.
July was in a traditional off-season, with no significant demand growth in the domestic market. Apart from supply chain C, only overseas demand remained relatively stable, leaving the overall industry landscape largely unchanged.
It's likely that manganese sulfate production may rise in August.
