NEA: China's power consumption in August rises 5% YoY

China's electricity consumption reached 1,015.4 billion kilowatt hours (kWh) in August, up 5% year on year, despite falling slightly from the all-time high of 1,022.6 billion kWh recorded in July, according to data from the National Energy Administration (NEA).
