On September 15, Bamo Technology Hungary Kft, a subsidiary of Huayou Cobalt, was awarded dual certifications for its compliance management system (ISO 37301) and anti-bribery management system (ISO 37001), making it the first Chinese-backed enterprise in Hungary to achieve both recognitions. The certifications underscore Huayou's position in compliance governance within the global new energy battery materials sector.
Paul Atkinson, Senior Automotive Manager for Europe, Middle East, and Africa at BSI (British Standards Institution), noted that amid ongoing tensions between globalization and deglobalization, compliance has become a critical concern for nations and enterprises worldwide. He emphasized that these certifications will further strengthen the international compliance standards of Huayou Cobalt and its Hungarian subsidiary, positioning them to lead sustainable development in the industry.
