On October 8, Huayou Indonesia was invited by PT Vale Indonesia Tbk to attend the inaugural mining ceremony at the Pomalaa block. During the event, the two companies formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on a talent cultivation program, further strengthening their collaboration in social initiatives and human resource development.
Under the MOU, the partners will cooperate in key areas such as engineering talent training and ESG capacity-building. The cooperative project will focus on Kabupaten Kolaka as a key area, and through joint training, academic exchanges and community empowerment, it will help the growth of talents and technological improvement in Indonesia's hydrometallurgical (HPAL) industry. These efforts are expected to contribute to local industrial advancement and sustainable economic development.
