Evonik launches its very first fumed alumina plant in Japan

Evonik has launched Alu5, the business's first fumed alumina manufacturing plant in Yokkaichi, Japan. The Yokkaichi plant will produce AEROXIDE, Evonik's premium fumed aluminum oxide known for its exceptional functionality across diverse applications. AEROXIDE, which is exclusively designed for ultra-thin coating technologies, significantly accelerates durability and performance in industrial sectors like consumer electronics, electric mobility and sustainable powder coatings.
