GACC: China's Jan-Oct foreign trade value rises 3.6% YoY

China's foreign trade value posted a 3.6% on-year gain during January-October to reach Yuan 37.31 trillion ($5.24 trillion), according to the latest data released by the country's General Administration of Customs (GACC) on November 7. Within the total, the value of exports mounted by 6.2% on year to Yuan 22.12 trillion, while imports totalled Yuan 15.19 trillion, remaining largely steady compared with the first ten months of last year, the statistics showed.

For October alone, China's foreign trade value equalled Yuan 3.7 trillion, logging a minimal on-year rise of 0.1%. During last month, the value of China's exports edged down by 0.8% on year to Yuan 2.17 trillion, while imports climbed by 1.4% on year to reach Yuan 1.53 trillion –
