According to statistics from China Customs, China's imports of ternary cathode materials in October 2025 totaled 6,342 tonnes, a decrease of 2,564 tonnes or 28.8% month-on-month, but an increase of 1,257 tonnes or 24.7% year-on-year. Among these, imports of NCM amounted to 4,603 tonnes, while that of NCA reached 1,739 tonnes.
From January to October 2025, China's cumulative imports of cathode materials reached 59,819 tonnes, representing a year-on-year decrease of 2.8%.
