On November 26, Panasonic Energy announced that it had signed an agreement with Zoox, an autonomous ride-hailing company under Amazon, to supply cylindrical lithium-ion batteries for its robotaxi fleet. Under this multi-year agreement, Panasonic Energy will begin delivering the latest 2170 battery cells in early 2026 to support Zoox's expanding robotaxi services and operations.
