On December 8, the launch ceremony for the Dangshan County New Energy Vehicle Industrial Park in Suzhou City and the 20 GWh/year power battery project of Deyi Energy (Suzhou) was held.
It is reported that the project is located in the Dangshan Economic Development Zone, with fixed asset investments totaling about Yuan 4 billion. It focuses on the R&D and manufacturing of high-performance, high-safety, and long-life power and energy storage batteries. The project plans to establish a leading high-automation production line with a capacity of 60 PPM (parts per minute), producing battery products with capacities of 55 AH, 100 AH, and 166 AH. These products will cater to hybrid, range-extended, and electric vehicles.
By the end of 2027, the project is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of 20 GWh. Upon completion and full operation, the project will drive the development of related industrial clusters, including battery materials, component manufacturing, and logistics services, contributing to the establishment of a complete and efficient EV industrial chain in Suzhou City and Dangshan County.
