NBS: China's Nov power output rises 2.7% YoY, but fossil-fueled generation falls 4.2%

China's total power generation from all sources in November rose 2.7% year on year to 779.2 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh), according to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on December 15.
Despite the on-year growth, total output fell 2.6% month on month from 800.21 billion kWh in October. This marked a notable deviation from seasonal norms, as power generation in November had exceeded October levels in the past two years amid rising heating demand in North China.     The on-month decline was
