On December 16, 2025, the London Metal Exchange (LME) announced that the "PTENICO" brand refined nickel produced by PT Eternal Nickel Industry has been approved and registered as an LME deliverable brand. According to Notice 25/193, the Exchange has approved the listing of the PTENICO brand, and its nickel plates can be used immediately for physical delivery against LME nickel contracts. However, as per Notice 25/141, the issuance of warrants for this brand will only become effective starting from December 23, 2025. Until then, warehouse companies are required to include stored PTENICO nickel plates as eligible stock in their daily off-warrant stock reports.
