According to the latest report, Zhongxi Tianma New Material Technology Co., Ltd. submitted an application for the 50,000-Tonne Annual Comprehensive Recycling and Utilization Project for Waste Batteries on October 14, 2025, marking the company's official entry into the lithium battery recycling sector.
The project, with a total investment exceeding Yuan 1 billion, is located in the Rare Earth New Materials Circular Economy Industrial Park in Liangshan County, Jining City. It covers an area of 150 acres, with a total construction area of 65,000 square meters. The construction period is scheduled from 2025 to 2028, during which key facilities such as sorting workshops, electrolysis workshops, and disassembly workshops will be built. Supporting public utilities, including water supply, drainage, and heating systems, will also be established. Specialized equipment such as soaking tanks, automated disassembly lines, precipitation tanks, and ion exchange columns will be procured. Upon completion, the project will achieve an annual processing capacity of 50,000 tonnes of waste lithium batteries.
