On the morning of December 18, Zhejiang Shengyu Technology Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement with the National-Level Ningxiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, marking the official establishment of a new-generation lithium battery project in Hunan Province.
Shengyu Technology is a new energy technology enterprise, primarily focused on the research, development, and industrialization of lithium-ion battery materials. The company has achieved a series of original, pioneering, and breakthrough innovations in the fields of new energy and new materials.
It is reported that the project will be constructed in two phases at the Ningxiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, with a total capacity of 60 GWh for the new-generation lithium battery project. Upon reaching full production, the project is expected to meet the battery demand for approximately 1 million electric vehicles (including construction machinery) or over 50 large-scale commercial energy storage power stations.
