On December 25, CATL announced that the company recently signed a three-year energy storage cooperation memorandum with Sieyuan Electric, with a targeted cooperation capacity of 50 GWh.
According to the memorandum, over the next three years, the two parties will collaborate on energy storage systems, transmission and distribution equipment, and related supporting facilities to achieve bidirectional synergy across the upstream and downstream segments of the industrial chain. Building on this foundation, both sides will also strengthen technical exchanges and project cooperation, continuously optimize integrated solution capabilities, enhance project delivery efficiency and reliability, and accelerate the large-scale deployment of energy storage systems in new-type power grids.
