According to the latest news on December 26, a project with a total investment of Yuan 4.8 billion for the annual production of 130,000 tonnes of lithium manganese iron phosphate (LMFP) cathode materials, led by Jiangsu Hengtron Nanotech Co., Ltd., was officially launched in the Yinchuan Economic and Technological Development Zone.
It is reported that the project will be implemented in two phases. The first phase involves the construction of an annual production line with a capacity of 25,000 tonnes of LMFP. Upon reaching full production, it is expected to achieve an annual output value of no less than Yuan 1 billion and create over 100 new jobs. Once fully completed, the project will further enhance the industrial chain for new battery materials within the zone, driving the industry toward higher-end, greener, and more intelligent development.
