CNGR recently stated that the company has secured a supply of 500-600 million wet metric tonnes(wmt) of nickel ore resources through investments, equity participation, long-term agreements, and offtake contracts, and has established four nickel raw material production bases in Indonesia. In addition, the company has built capacities of 200,000 tonnes of iron phosphate and 50,000 tonnes of lithium iron phosphate in Kaiyang County, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province.
In terms of resource planning, for phosphorus resources, the company controls high-quality phosphate ore resources in Kaiyang County, with phosphate ore resources amounting to 98.44 million tonnes at an average grade of 25%. The planned annual mining volume is 2.8 million tonnes, and operations are set to begin soon.
For lithium resources, the company has acquired two lithium salt lake projects in Argentina during the industry downturn at a low cost, giving it a competitive acquisition advantage, with controlled lithium carbonate resources exceeding 10 million tonnes.
