CCMA: China's excavator sales leap 17% YoY in 2025

China's excavator sales to both domestic and overseas customers totaled 235,257 units in 2025, marking a 17% increase from 2024, according to the latest data released by the China Construction Machinery Association (CCMA).

Within the total, domestic sales last year jumped by 17.9% from 2024 to 118,518 units, while exports rose 16.1% on year to 116,739, the CCMA data showed. For December alone, China's sales of excavators reached 23,095 units, surging by 19.2% from December 2024. Of these, excavator sales in the domestic market climbed by 10.9% on year to 10,331 units,
