Taiwan's CSC hikes major steel list prices for Feb sales

China Steel Corp (CSC), Taiwan's largest steel mill headquartered in South Taiwan's Kaohsiung, has decided to hike the list prices of its major steel products by TWD 300/tonne ($9.5/t) for local sales in February, according to the company's latest release published on its website.
CSC's decision was primarily made in response to the upward trend seen in global steel prices and to reflect its rising production costs amid firmer prices of key steelmaking materials, the company explained in the release.   Global steel prices have shown signs of moving up lately.
