NBS: China's 2025 primary aluminum output rises 2.4% YoY

China's primary aluminum output totalled 45.02 million tonnes during 2025, up by 2.4% from the 2024 total, according to the latest data released by the country's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

The full-year output in 2025 exceeded the 45 million tonnes/year capacity cap imposed on the domestic primary aluminum sector, Mysteel Global noted.
