On January 17, the completion and commissioning ceremony for Jiangxi Greatpower's lithium iron (manganese) phosphate project was held at the Anyuan Industrial Park in Pingxiang, Jiangxi Province.
It is understood that Jiangxi Greatpower Battery Materials Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shanghai Greatpower Technology Co., LTD, was established in December 2022 and is located in the Anyuan Industrial Park. The project is planned to have an annual production capacity of 50,000 tonnes of lithium iron (manganese) phosphate cathode material. The first phase, with a total investment exceeding Yuan 600 million, was completed in 13 months, establishing a production line with an annual capacity of 20,000 tonnes of lithium iron (manganese) phosphate. Supporting facilities such as standard factory buildings, warehouses, and office buildings have also been completed.
