According to the latest news on the afternoon of January 19, Hubei Lihe Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lithium Union Group, and Wuhan Power Battery Recycling Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary controlled by GEM Group, signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly build a green value chain for used lithium-ion batteries.
It is reported that through this signing, Hubei Lihe and Wuhan Power Battery Recycling will fully leverage their integrated industry resources and technological advantages, implement a nationwide layout for power battery recycling, and carry out comprehensive and close cooperation in multiple areas. The specific cooperation details are as follows:
Jointly Establish a Lithium Battery Recycling System
In accordance with relevant national policies, the partners will establish used lithium-ion battery recycling service providers. These providers will collaborate with qualified entities such as electric vehicle manufacturers, vehicle dismantling enterprises, electric vehicle sales outlets, and maintenance points to set up temporary storage sites and recycling service networks for lithium-ion batteries, thereby accelerating the construction of a lithium battery recycling system.
Cooperation in Small Power Battery PACK Business
The partners will engage in in-depth business collaboration in the small power battery PACK sector, integrating their respective technological, production, and market resources to jointly advance the research and development, order production, market promotion, and delivery of small power battery PACK products.
Dual-Brand Product Production and Channel Sales Cooperation
The partners will collaborate around their respective proprietary brands to produce and sell power lithium batteries and derivative products.
Cooperative Operation of a Comprehensive Lithium Battery Service Platform
The partners will jointly promote the construction and operation of the "Heli Cycle" online lithium battery trading platform, aiming to create a comprehensive platform integrating resource trading, information queries, and technical services.
