The Indonesian Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU) conducted a working visit to the IMIP Park on January 17. On January 19, KPPU reported that monopolistic practices were identified in the port storage and logistics operations within the park. As of the 23rd, vessel transportation in the park has proceeded smoothly, with no impact on ships arriving or departing with nickel and stainless steel products. KPPU believes that port services and management at the park should be opened to competition, and the park is currently in discussions with KPPU regarding the matter.
