On the morning of February 1st, the groundbreaking ceremony for the 100,000-tonne used lithium battery recycling project in Tianmen City, Hubei Province was grandly held at the Lithium Union Group's Tianmen Industrial Park in Hubei Province.
According to reports, the 100,000-tonne used lithium battery recycling project is jointly constructed and operated by Hubei Lihe New Energy Co., Ltd. and Hubei Chaowei Yuanli Energy Co., Ltd. With a total investment of Yuan 300 million, the project focuses on the production and assembly (PACK) of new energy power lithium-ion batteries, lithium battery dismantling, comprehensive utilization of battery products, and remanufacturing. It aims to establish a production base for the PACK, dismantling, and comprehensive utilization of new energy power lithium-ion batteries, creating a circular industrial park that integrates the recycling, dismantling, testing, production, and reuse of used lithium batteries. Once fully operational, the project is expected to achieve an annual output value exceeding Yuan 1 billion and contribute over Yuan 40 million in annual tax revenue.
