Taiwan's major stainless mills hike list prices for Feb sales

Major stainless steelmakers in Taiwan have decided to raise their list prices for February sales in response to increased production costs and market expectations for a recovery in demand, Mysteel Global has learned.

Yieh United Steel Corp (Yusco), Taiwan's largest stainless steel producer headquartered in Kaohsiung, is raising its list prices for 304-grade hot-rolled and cold-rolled stainless products by TWD 7,500/tonne ($238/t) for business discussions this month, the company has announced. Its prices for 430-grade stainless products have been lifted by TWD
