FLASH: Maxell to sell its lithium-ion battery production subsidiary in China

On February 4th, Japanese electronics and materials manufacturer Maxell announced that it will sell its lithium-ion battery production subsidiary, Wuxi Maxell Energy Co., Ltd., to Zhejiang Xinghuan Holdings Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of ‌Galaxy Energy Group Co., Ltd. The transaction amounts to approximately Yuan 48.96 million, and the transfer of equity is expected to be completed within the current month.
