FLASH: Aiko Solar signs a Patent License Agreement with Maxeon

On February 6, Aiko Solar announced that the company has signed a Patent License Agreement with Maxeon, under which Aiko Solar has obtained a license to all BC battery and module patents held solely or jointly by Maxeon, both existing and those newly added over the next five years, excluding the United States. The agreement does not involve any reverse licensing.

 

The total patent license fee amounts to Yuan 1.65 billion, to be paid by Aiko Solar in installments over the next five years, with the first-year license fee set at Yuan 250 million.
