On February 25, the launch and commencement ceremony for the Dongguan Base was held in Machong Town, Dongguan City. According to available information, the project, established by Dongguan Ganfeng Electronics Co., Ltd., is a headquarters base with an annual production capacity of 10 GWh of new-type lithium batteries and energy storage systems. With a total investment of Yuan 5 billion, the facility will focus on the R&D and production of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) materials, semi-solid-state battery cells, light-duty power batteries, portable outdoor energy storage power supplies, residential energy storage solutions, and commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage systems.
