ChinaIOL: China's white goods output to decline 4% YoY in March

China’s scheduled production of the three most popular home appliances -- air-conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines -- is estimated to reach 39.11 million units in March, down 4% from actual output in March 2025, according to the latest survey released by ChinaIOL.com, a leading domestic information provider serving the home appliance and refrigeration industries.

Both air-conditioners and washing machines are forecast to see on-year declines in scheduled production next month -- air-conditioner output may fall 6.1% to 23.34 million units, and washing machines will drop 3.4% to 7.34 million units.
