'Two Sessions': China sets 2026 GDP growth of 4.5-5% and other key development goals

The main goals include:
- A GDP growth of around 4.5-5%, with efforts to achieve even better results in practice
- A surveyed urban unemployment rate of about 5.5%
- Creation of more than 12 million new urban jobs
- CPI growth of around 2%, aimed at maintaining stable prices
- A 3.8% reduction in energy consumption per unit of GDP
- Resident income growth in line with economic growth
- A basic balance in international payments
