According to Guoke Energy (Lanzhou New Area) Co., Ltd., construction is in full swing at its annual 30 GWh new energy battery production base project site in the early spring, with all construction activities progressing steadily.
It is reported that the project, located in the New Material Industrial Park of Lanzhou New Area, Gansu Province, is a key benchmark project in the new energy industry for the Lanzhou New Area Energy Technology Group. With a total investment of Yuan 9 billion, the project is being constructed in three phases. The first phase, with an investment of Yuan 2.8 billion, will establish an annual production capacity of 10 GWh for lithium iron phosphate (LFP) energy storage battery cells.
Currently, the foundation and earthwork for the battery cell plant have been completed. The EPC bidding for the dedicated 110 kV substation is progressing in an orderly manner, and 30% of the main steel structure construction for the plant has been completed. Concurrently, supporting projects for water supply, electricity, fire protection, and pipeline networks are being accelerated.
