Iron Ore Global Shipment
The escalating geopolitical tensions in the Middle East have caused the Baltic Exchange's main sea freight index, which tracks global rates for ships carrying dry bulk commodities, to generally record losses over the past few days in contrast to the jumps seen at the start of this month.
The composite index, which tracks freight rates for Capesize, Panamax, and Supramax vessels, settled at 1,926 points on March 11.
