Dominica imposes AD duty on Chinese EMT tubes in final ruling

The government of Dominica has upheld a complaint by a local steelmaker and decided to impose a 16% definitive anti-dumping (AD) duty on imports of steel EMT (electric metallic tubing) conduits tubes from China, following an affirmative final determination released by the country's trade remedies authority on February 26.

The measure, which applies to EMT conduits with diameters ranging from 0.5 inches to 3 inches, took effect from March 6 and will remain in place for five years, expiring on March 5, 2031, the release said.
