Indian solar manufacturer Waaree Energies Ltd has officially commenced construction of an integrated photovoltaic ingot and wafer manufacturing facility at the Butibori Industrial Area in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The plant, designed with a production capacity of 10 GW each for ingots and wafers, will become the largest integrated manufacturing base of its kind in India upon completion.
The project spans approximately 300 acres with a total investment of around 62 billion Indian rupees, focusing on the production of high-purity photovoltaic ingots and wafers.
