Recently, the People's Government of Longwan District, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, published the Public Notice on the Environmental Impact Assessment Report for the Scrap Power Battery Dismantling and Standardized Cascade Utilization Project of REPT BATTERO.
According to the public notice, REPT BATTERO plans to construct two cascade utilization dismantling production lines at its existing facility in Plot A-05a of the Wenzhou Bay New Energy Technology Industrial Park, primarily involving battery dismantling and testing processes. Additionally, one CTP production line (module and pack assembly line) will be built at Plot A-10b2 in Yongxing South Park, Wenzhou Minzhe Base, primarily for battery assembly processes.
The project will add an annual capacity for the cascade utilization of 5,000 tonnes of scrap lithium-ion batteries, which will be mainly used for base station backup power and energy storage systems.
