China Minmetals advances new Liaoning iron ore project

China Minmetals Mining Holding Co., a leading state-owned mining enterprise, is set to formally commence exploration work at the Huahonggou iron ore project in Northeast China's Liaoning province in early Apil, marking a key step in the development of the country's domestic iron ore resources, according to the latest release from the province's Department of Natural Resources.
