IAI: Global primary aluminum output tops 5.6 million tonnes in Feb

Global primary aluminum production totalled 5.69 million tonnes in February, up by a marginal 0.9% from the same month last year but down by 10% from January, according to data released by the International Aluminium Institute (IAI).

On a per-day basis, global output averaged 203,036 tonnes last month, also marking a 0.9% uptick from a year ago, Mysteel Global's calculations based on the IAI's data showed.
