In Q1 2026, China's nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) prices rose sharply, with most gains concentrated in March, buoyed by Middle East geopolitical conflicts, supply tightness and substantial cost hikes in feedstocks butadiene and acrylonitrile. At press time, the reference price for PetroChina Lanzhou Petrochemical 3305E stood at Yuan 22,600-23,200/tonne,
