CISA: Members' daily crude steel output rebounds in early April

Daily crude steel output among the member mills of the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) averaged 2.1 million tonnes/day during April 1-10, recovering by 5.6% or 112,000 t/d from the previous eleven-day period, according to the latest release from the association on April 15.

Despite the rise, the average was still lower by 4.2% compared to the same ten days last year, CISA indicated in the release. Based on the performance of its member mills, the association estimated that daily crude steel output among both member mills and non-member mills averaged 2.73 million t/d
