China's Mar naphtha imports plunge 52.90% on Mideast supply disruption

China's naphtha imports eye a steep decline in March, as the closure of the Strait of Hormuz disrupted the supply of naphtha from the Middle East.
The outbreak of the US-Iran conflict on February 28 effectively closed the Strait of Hormuz until April 17. The closure cut off Middle Eastern naphtha supplies, and neither Russia nor the US was able to fill the gap, leading to the steep decline in March imports.   China imported 856,600 tonnes
