China's imports of MHP reached 171,200 tonnes in March 2026, up 46,700 tonnes or 37.49% from the previous month, and up 2,500 tonnes or 1.46% year-on-year, according to data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China.
Among the total, imports from Indonesia stood at 134,200 tonnes, up 24.66% month-on-month, accounting for 78.36% of the month's total imports. In the first quarter of 2026, the cumulative imports of nickel intermediate products totaled 467,900 tonnes, up 4.03% year-on-year.
