On April 21, CNGR stated on an interactive platform that the company has secured two major salt lake assets in Argentina, Jama and Solaroz, controlling over 10 million tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent resources. The mining rights value of these two salt lakes has appreciated significantly since their acquisition. In the short term, the company will adopt a prudent and follow-through development strategy, avoiding blind pursuit of speed. Depending on market conditions and the company's capital requirements, it will flexibly choose between development or monetization paths to maximize value.
In the long term, the lithium resources from the Argentine salt lakes constitute an important part of the company's global industrial chain. The company plans to integrate these lithium mines into the raw material security system of its industrial parks in Morocco, Indonesia, and other regions, which involve hundreds of billions of investment. This will support the company's global advancement of an integrated resources-smelting-raw materials-recycling development model, striving to maximize both resource efficiency and strategic value.
