China Mar PP exports surge 66.12% MoM on wide global supply gap

China imported 269,700 tonnes of PP in March, up 30.92% from the previous month, according to GACC data. Exports, meanwhile, soared to an annual high of 405,500 tonnes, representing a 66.12% month-on-month surge.

China's polypropylene (PP) trade saw a dramatic shift in March 2026, driven by escalating geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
