Some companies in Zimbabwe are expected to begin shipments in early May, with cargoes likely to arrive at converters for production in July. In this case, a number of large converters still face raw material shortages in the second quarter and are actively seeking supplies in the market. While arrivals of Australia's spodumene have picked up in April, the converters have been taking delivery quickly, keeping port inventories at low levels.
