On April 29, Sinomine issued an announcement stating that for the first quarter of 2026, the company achieved operating revenue of Yuan 1.376 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 10.4%, and a net profit of Yuan 508 million, an increase of 276.7% YoY.
The announcement also stated that on January 2, 2026, the company's annual output of 30,000 tonnes of high-purity lithium salt project commenced ignition and trial production operations. Located in Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province, the project was previously under maintenance and technical modification by Sinomine Resources (Jiangxi) Lithium, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, starting June 27, 2025. This technical modification will further improve lithium recovery rates and effectively reduce lithium salt production costs. Upon completion, the company's overall competitiveness in the lithium salt business will be further enhanced, enabling it to better respond to industry changes and market challenges. Currently, the company has a total ore processing capacity of 4.18 million tonnes per year and a battery-grade lithium salt production capacity of 71,000 tonnes per year.
