On May 1, 2026, Indonesia issued a Ministerial Decree on Mineral and Coal Reference Prices for the first period of May 2026. The nickel HMA reference price was set at US $17,802.14/tonne, the cobalt HMA reference price at US $55,854.29/tonne, the iron ore HMA reference price at US $1.56/ tonne unit (dry), and the chrome ore HMA reference price at US $6.37/tonne.
