GACC: China's foreign trade value jumps 15% on year over Jan-Apr

China's foreign trade value amounted to Yuan 16.23 trillion ($2.39 trillion) during the first four months this year, posting a large on-year gain of 14.9%, according to the latest data released by the country's General Administration of Customs (GACC) on May 9.

Within the total, the value of exports rose by 11.3% on year to Yuan 9.33 trillion, while that of imports soared by 20% on year to Yuan 6.9 trillion during January-April. For April alone, export value totaled Yuan 2.48 trillion, climbing by 9.8% on year and by 6.5% from March.
